MADRAS PLAID - PLAID FABRICS - SEERSUCKER - CHECK FABRICS

Tattersall Plaid is a type of plaid fabric that has patterns with stripes of bars in a squared design. Sometimes the pattern consists of a checkered pattern of dark lines on a lighter background.
Tattersall has a tartan look to it, even if it is woven in cotton, as opposed to wool.  Tattersall is most used for making shirts, jacket and coats, as well as ties and bowties.
Windowpane plaids are a form of check fabrics, that are characterized by clear squares all over the fabric, in a sort of grid pattern, or windows of equal size.
