Remnant Fabric is fabric yardage which remains in stock, in odd cuts and lengths, and is available as is, and is usually of a length which is unsuitable to traditional uses such as shirtmaking or dress-making, but not always.
Sometimes, remnant fabrics are simply whats left over after majority of stock of a certain fabric is sold out, and it is usually available at a significantly discounted pricing as compared to its original price.
These are also known as Clearance Fabrics.
